The door and drawer both have magnetic catches to keep your mail (or change?) safe... that correct, it will take quarters and smaller through the top hatch or your scale mail, should you desire.

I use these on my diorama and on my desk at work. Good for a laugh or the furled eyebrow.

Approximate dimensions:
1/14 is 4" tall x 2" wide x 2" deep
1/10 is 5.5" tall x 2.5" wide x 2.5" deep

These are made of plastic and have small metal pieces. Not suitable for children.
